Lay individual wreathes at the graves of those who died on 4th and 5th November 1918:

Assemble at Locquignol Church [Site of German machine gun location]
Met by Pipe Band
Mass and Memorial Service in Locquignol Church
Mayor of Locquignol to unveil memorial plaque at Cemetery
Lay wreathes on the graves of the four British soldiers in Locquignol Cemetery
Memorial brunch in Locquignol

Travel to Notre Dame des Flaquettes (Mormal Forrest):
Lay a wreath for the 6th Dorsetshire Regiment soldiers who died that day
Lay wreaths for other Regiment’s soldiers who died that day.
(Some visitors may detour to Englefontaine)

For those interested: Walk along Rue de Flaquette in to the Mormal Forest [where the Dorsetshire’s were located after dark on 4th November 1918 - it is a track but in fair condition]
Pass the Institut Forrestier where the 7th West Yorkshire Regiment met stiff resistance.

Return to accommodation for a memorial dinner.

Monday 5th November [On return journey]
Lay individual wreathes at the Memorial (they have no known grave) of those who died on 4th and 5th November 1918:

Arrangements for the Visit

We will be arranging for a coach to take the commemoration party to France on Friday 2nd November 2018. We will return to the UK on Monday 5th November.

We will be arranging accommodation for the entire party to cover the duration of the visit.

The cost of Transportation and Accommodation will depend on the final numbers travelling with us and will be communicated to all interested parties once bookings have been made.

Individual Parties
Anyone is welcome to travel to the event under their own steam and make their own accommodation arrangements if this is prefered. Please consider coordinating with us so that you can be involved in the events we will be running throughout the weekend.
